Sindicate
The Project
Sindicate is a 3D, co-op, two-player roguelite where you have to navigate the streets of a lawless 1920s magical city to climb to the top of the crime syndicate running it. Playing as one of 3-4 different supernatural creatures, your player duo tag-team switches between 2 different, asymmetric sets of abilities to work together to defeat the bosses of 7 sinful sectors of the city’s criminal empire.
Currently, the demo only showcases basic combat and the cooperative swap mechanic. In the future, the game will feature abilities and upgrades similar to Hades, and many different districts and rooms to explore.
Writer
Drafted and developed 1 of the main playable classes, drawing from Buddhist mythos for inspiration.
Assisted in the outlining and conception of several distinct districts, themed after the 7 deadly sins.
Designed and wrote for several Sindicate bosses and friendly characters.
The Work
Cinematic Designer
Implemented a cinematic cutscene to end the demo and tease future content.
Utilized Cinemachine and Timeline to develop an introductory cutscene for the Wrath District Boss.
Implemented cel-shading on various models to highlight the noir aesthetic.
